What Climate Change?

Global weirding continues. While snow on the high ridges is quite common, down here at 600' on the valley floor it is quite rare. We'll get the occasional flurry, but nothing like this:






Those photos were taken at about 9:30 this morning. Snow turned to rain at about 11:00, but it was such a cold rain the snow stayed on the ground until late afternoon. A day for the record books, to be sure.

Pretty Weird ...

Between one and two inches of snow fell across the north half of Mendocino County Tuesday night, resulting in the closing of Willits and Laytonville schools Wednesday.
