There is a lot of talk on teevee lately about "ending our dependence on foreign oil." Foreign oil. What they're really saying is: "Let's drill for oil off the coasts, in the Alaskan wilderness, and in your backyard if if there's any there."
The problem is not foreign oil, it's oil period! The government, of course, won't acknowledge that. Not while the corporations who profit from oil hold the reins of power.

Nice clip, Ive been wondering about this, now I know. Any idea how complicated it is to extract the oil. Could a person get a permit to grow hemp under "experimental" and produce their own fuel. Or am I "baked" so to speak.
